What type of foundation systems are used?

The most popular method consists of simple poured concrete piers, concrete pad or helical piles. Because every site is different, we do not directly quote the cost of foundations or pour concrete.

Are NEXUS and EXPANSE Insulated?

Yes! Walls, floor and roof are rated at R20. You can enjoy your oasis all year round with a mini split.

How can I heat and cool my space?

Minimal heat and cooling sources are required to warm the space. We suggest the ductless mini split for complete climate control.

Is this ready for electricity?

Because every site is different, electrical connection cost is not included in the pirce. Use your own licensed electrical contractor or talk to us for pricing.

Can I use it as a Garden Suite or ADU?

NEXUS and EXPANSE models are not designed for use as a dwelling unit. These models are perfect as an Office Space, Art or Music Studio, Exercise or Reading Room and other extra spaces.

Do I need a building permit？

In Ontario, you don't need a building permit for NEXUS and EXPANSE models as they are under 160 square feet. However, if you want to add plumbing, you'll need a building permit regardless of the size of the unit.

How do I order? How does payment work?

The first step is to place an order online (no payment is required). We will contact you after receiving your order to confirm any remaining details. A 30% deposit is required to confirm your order. 100% payment is due prior to shipping, or upon pick-up or delivery.

Is there a Warranty?

NEXUS and EXPANSE models are covered with a 3 year limited warranty covering wall, floor and roofing systems.
